Short answer

Yes, we deliver to Ireland, and we send every Irish order duty paid. That means no customs charge, no handling fee and no courier asking you for money at the door. You pay in euro at checkout and nothing more. Delivery is roughly three days once your piece leaves our Cambridge studio, and everything is made to order, so allow 2 to 3 weeks for the portrait itself. Tracked delivery is €9.99, or free over €75, which every embroidered garment and homeware piece passes.

Ordering from Ireland, in short

  • Duty paid. No customs charges or handling fees on delivery. The price at checkout is the whole price.
  • Priced in euro, not converted at the end.
  • About three days in transit to Ireland once dispatched.
  • 2 to 3 weeks to design and stitch your portrait before it ships.
  • Free tracked delivery over €75, which every embroidered garment and homeware piece passes.
  • Last Christmas order date for Ireland is 20 November 2026.
  • You approve a digital proof before anything is stitched, with unlimited revisions.

Do you deliver to Ireland, and will I be charged customs?

We deliver to Ireland, and no, you will not be charged customs. Every Irish order goes out delivered duty paid, which means any duty and import VAT is settled by us before the parcel travels. Nothing is collected on your doorstep and no courier will hold your parcel for a fee.

This is worth saying plainly, because it is the thing Irish shoppers have learned to be wary of when buying from a British maker. Since Brexit, plenty of UK sites will take your order and leave the import charge for you to discover when the van arrives. We do not do that. The figure you see at checkout, in euro, is the figure you pay.

One honest note: because the parcel crosses a customs border, tracking sometimes pauses for a day while it clears. That is normal and it does not mean anything has gone wrong, and it does not mean a charge is coming. If tracking has not moved for more than three working days, email us and we will chase it.

How long does delivery to Ireland take?

Two separate things add up, and it helps to see them apart. Nothing we make is sitting on a shelf, so the making is the longer part.

  • Design and proofYou send a photo of your pet. We design the portrait from it and send you a digital proof to approve, with unlimited revisions. 70 per cent of designs are approved with no edits at all.
  • StitchingOnce you approve the proof, your piece is embroidered in our studio at Copley Hill, just outside Cambridge. Design and stitching together take 2 to 3 weeks, with the current lead time shown at checkout.
  • Transit to IrelandAround three days from dispatch, tracked, with duty already paid.

So from clicking order to opening the box, think three to four weeks rather than three days. If you are buying for a birthday or an anniversary, work backwards from the date and give yourself a week of slack.

Last Christmas order date for Ireland

Christmas 2026

Order by 20 November 2026 for delivery to Ireland in time for Christmas. That is earlier than our UK date of 26 November, because every piece is made in Cambridge and then has to cross to Ireland. If Christmas is closer than that when you read this, a gift card is the honest answer, and the recipient gets to choose the photo themselves.

We keep every cut-off date updated in our guide to Christmas order deadlines for personalised gifts, so check there before committing to a date.

What does it cost in euro?

These are the prices an Irish customer is charged, in euro, with duty already covered. Multi-pet designs add €32 for each extra pet, up to three pets on one piece.

Piece From Best for
Embroidered iron-on patch €37.95 The cheapest way to own one. Turns a jacket or bag they already have into a personalised piece
Canvas tote bag €75.95 Carried daily, no size to guess
Velvet piped cushion €83.95 Someone whose wardrobe is already full. Up to three pets on one cover
Organic t-shirt €83.95 Year-round wear, lighter than a jumper
Fleece quarter zip €98.95 Dog walkers, and Irish weather
Organic sweatshirt €109.95 Our most popular piece, full stop
Embroidered Christmas jumper €114.95 The festive knit that survives into January
Hoodie €121.95 Warmer version of the sweatshirt
Hooded blanket €127.95 The warmest thing we make, and no size to get wrong

A gift card is also available in euro if you would rather they chose the piece and the photo themselves.

What actually arrives?

An embroidered portrait of your own pet, designed from a photo you send and stitched in thread. Not printed, so there is no transfer to crack or fade in the wash, and nothing that looks faded after a winter of walks. You see a digital proof first and nothing is made until you are happy with it.

Before you order from Ireland, check

  • You have one clear daylight photo, both eyes sharp, face filling a good part of the frame
  • Your deadline allows 2 to 3 weeks of making, plus about three days to Ireland
  • You know their size if you are buying clothing. If not, the cushion and the tote need no size
  • Your Eircode is on the address, which helps the courier on the Irish leg
  • If the household has more than one pet, say so, and we can put up to three on one piece

Pet memorial pieces

A good share of what leaves the studio is a memorial piece. If you are ordering after losing a pet, two things are worth knowing. The first is that there is no normal timetable: some people order within days, some once a date has been set at the vet so something is waiting at home, and some a year later. None of those is early or late.

The second is that you can add a halo to the design, and dates to the sleeve, if you want the piece to mark the loss rather than just show the pet. Our pet memorial keepsakes are the right place to start, and if you are buying for someone else rather than yourself, what to get someone whose dog has died is honest about when the right gift is a card and your company instead.

Why order from a British studio at all?

A fair question when there are closer options. The honest answer is that we are a small studio, every piece is embroidered to order at Copley Hill rather than printed by a third party, and you approve the design before anything is made. Over 75,000 pet parents have ordered, and our reviews page holds a 4.9 average from more than 10,000 five star reviews.

And practically, the duty-paid part removes the thing that usually makes buying from Britain annoying. You are not gambling on a charge at the door.

One photo of your pet, a proof you approve, and a piece nobody else owns. Priced in euro, duty paid, about three days to Ireland once it ships.

Frequently asked questions

Do you ship to Ireland?

Yes. Every piece is designed and embroidered in our studio just outside Cambridge and sent to Ireland tracked, delivered duty paid. Prices are shown and charged in euro. Tracked delivery is €9.99, or free on orders over €75.

Will I pay customs or import charges on delivery to Ireland?

No. Irish orders are sent delivered duty paid, so any duty and import VAT is settled by us before the parcel travels. Nothing is collected on your doorstep and no courier will hold the parcel for a fee. The euro figure at checkout is the whole cost.

How long does delivery to Ireland take?

About three days in transit once your piece is dispatched. Before that, allow 2 to 3 weeks for us to design the portrait, send you a proof to approve and stitch it, because nothing is made until you have approved the design. From order to doorstep, think three to four weeks.

What is the last Christmas order date for Ireland?

20 November 2026 for delivery to Ireland in time for Christmas. That is earlier than our 26 November UK date, because each piece is made in Cambridge and then crosses to Ireland. If Christmas is nearer than that, order a gift card rather than gambling on a rushed custom piece.

Are prices shown in euro for Irish customers?

Yes. Irish orders are priced and charged in euro throughout, not converted at the last step. A sweatshirt starts at €109.95, a fleece at €98.95, a velvet cushion at €83.95 and an iron-on patch at €37.95. Multi-pet designs add €32 for each extra pet.

What if something is wrong with my order?

Email us and we will put it right. Nothing is stitched until you have approved the digital proof, which is where most problems get caught before anything is made, and revisions at that stage are unlimited. If a piece arrives damaged or not as the proof you approved, that is on us to fix.

What photo do you need?

One clear photo taken in daylight, with both eyes sharp and the face filling a good part of the frame. A slightly blurry photo is usually fine, because we design the portrait from it rather than printing it, and we can work from more than one photo if a marking only shows in one. We review every photo before design work starts and will tell you if it will not make a good portrait.

Can you put more than one pet on a piece?

Yes, up to three pets on one piece, at €32 for each extra pet. We stitch dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, hamsters, birds and reptiles, so a mixed household does not have to leave anyone off.
