How it's made
Every piece is designed for you and made to order in our workshop in Cambridge, England. Nothing is mass produced, so each order gets the same care and attention to detail.
Made in small batches
We produce in limited batches rather than holding bulk stock. Once a batch fills, it closes and the next available ship date moves back, so reserving your place early secures the sooner date.
Unlimited edits before we stitch
After you order, we create a custom design from your photo and send it to you as a proof. Request unlimited edits until it's exactly right, and nothing is manufactured until you approve it.
Need it sooner? Fast Track
Fast Track moves your order to the front of the workshop and dispatches it within 7 days. Slots are limited each week and can be added at cart or checkout.

Shipping & delivery
Your piece is made to order. Standard make time is 10 to 14 days, or 7 days with Fast Track. Shipping time on top of that varies by destination, so your estimated delivery date is shown at checkout.
We ship worldwide. Need it sooner? Choose a Priority option at checkout to speed up processing.
United States. Every order ships Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), so all duties, taxes and import fees are covered upfront by us. Full cost transparency, no surprise courier bills, and a faster, smoother delivery.
Rest of world. Select Priority at checkout to unlock DDP and have your duties, taxes and import fees covered upfront too.
On Standard shipments outside the US, duties, taxes and import fees may be payable when your parcel reaches your local customs authority. We'd recommend checking your country's thresholds beforehand.
Care instructions
Washing
- Wash at 30°C (86°F) on a gentle cycle with similar colours.
- Use a mild detergent to protect the organic cotton and the embroidery.
Drying
- Air dry only, lay flat or hang to dry.
- Avoid tumble drying, which can damage the fabric and the stitching.
Ironing
- Turn the item inside out first.
- Lay a clean cloth over the embroidery to protect it.
- Use a low to medium heat for the best result.

Can I use a photo from my phone?
Absolutely. A clear, well-lit phone snap is perfect. Front-on, with their face in focus and good light, gives our artists the most to work with.
Can I have two or more pets on one?
Yes. Choose the number of pets in the designer and upload a photo of each, and we'll stitch them together on the same piece.
What if my photo isn't good enough?
Send your best and we'll take a look. If we need a clearer shot we'll simply ask, and you'll always see a proof before anything is stitched, so there are no surprises.
Will it actually look like my pet?
Yes. We design their portrait from your photo, the markings, colours and the look in their eyes, and send you a proof. Nothing is stitched until you're 100% happy, with unlimited edits.
Can I edit my order after placing it?
Of course. At the proof stage you can request unlimited changes until it's exactly right. Need to change something else? Just message us and we'll help.
Can I order if my pet has passed away?
Yes, and it's one of the most meaningful things we make. Many customers order to keep a beloved pet close. We'll treat your photo and your portrait with all the care it deserves.
Can I return a personalised item?
Because each piece is made just for you, personalised items aren't returnable for a change of mind. You can cancel free before we send your proof, and if the finished portrait doesn't match the proof you approved, our Happiness Guarantee means we remake it free. This doesn't affect your legal rights if an item is faulty or not as described.
How long does worldwide delivery take?
Your piece is made to order. Right now, from the day you order to the day it arrives is 2 to 3 weeks, including your proof and any edits, or sooner with Fast Track. Lead times will be longer after we appear on Dragons' Den on 24 September, so your estimated delivery date at checkout is the one to plan around. We ship worldwide, and duties and taxes are included on every international delivery option, so there's nothing to pay on arrival.
