How many pets can go on my item?
Pet limits by product, the £20 extra pet charge, and how to add more than the website allows
It depends on the item, mostly because of the space we have to stitch into.
Hoodies and sweatshirts. Up to 12 pets. The website lets you choose up to 4, so if you would like more than that, email us and we will set the rest up for you.
Large roll top backpack. Up to 3 pets. It is the only bag with room for more than one.
Cross body bags and small backpacks. One pet. These are small items and there genuinely is not the room for a second.
Themed borders, such as strawberry or pumpkin, take up to 2 pets, because the border takes up part of the space.
What each extra pet costs
Additional pets are £20 each. Choose the number of pets on the product page before you add the item to your basket, so the charge is included from the start.
You will need one clear photo per pet. They do not have to be the same kind of animal, so dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, hamsters, birds and reptiles can all sit on the same item together.
Adding more than four
If you want more than the four the website allows, email us at hello@lucyandlolashop.com with your order number and a photo of each additional pet. We will send you a way to pay for the extras.
Tell us how you would like them arranged if the order matters to you. You have until you approve your design to add more pets, so there is no rush on the same day you order.
Borders and frames
A border or frame from our collection is £15 and surrounds your pet with a decorative design.
One thing worth knowing before you choose: names cannot be placed underneath the portrait on a border design. The design is your pet and the border together, and there is not room for text below it. If you would like your pet's name on your item, sleeve embroidery is the way to do it.
